Ala H. Salih started Thai Village in Hamilton, New Zealand. After living many years in the exotic region of Thailand, his love for Thai food grew and so did his passion for hospitality.
In 1998, he partnered up with his favourite Thai chef – also known as Mummy to her customers – and launched the first Thai Village. With its homemade flavours and Mummy’s own secret recipes, Thai Village is now being brought to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The concept is derived from the simplicity and elegance of Thai cuisine, with a modern twist. The aromatic dishes and modest restaurant style in Thai Village will provide a true authentic experience without needing to leave the comfort of Kuala Lumpur.
